Designation name & Description:

As a Data Engineer / NLP Engineer, you are expected to develop and implement NLP techniques across teams to help build Products and solutions to address our client business needs.

Data Engineering team designs and implements NLP tools and techniques to address business problems of our clients and engage with client to help them in better data driven decision making.

Responsibilities:

• Understanding business objectives and developing models that help to achieve them, along with metrics to track their progress 
• Design and Develop NLP models and algorithms. 
• Apply techniques like part-of-speech tagging, named entity recognition and text classification  
• Expert in concepts of Data Acquisition, Data Cleansing and working with large data sets. 
• Defining validation and preprocessing strategies to be done on a given  dataset 
• Training models and tuning their hyperparameters 
• Analyzing the errors of the model and designing strategies to overcome them 
• Deploying models to production 
• Knowledge on Deep learning techniques  
• Knowledge on latest NLP technologies and trends 
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to integrate NLP models with various projects 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/Masters Degree 
• 3+ years of functionally related professional experience in software development is required 
• Having work experience in Pharma/Life sciences background is advantage 
• Expertise in visualizing and manipulating big datasets 
• Proficiency with Python and experience with NLP libraries like NLTK, spaCy and others 
• Experience of deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch is required
